ICE RACING PHOTOS!

ROUND 6 - Mar.1st at Lac La Biche. NATIONAL
GENERAL INFO
The Winter Festival of Speed & their sponsor, ENCANA, know how to treat their racers! They offer a fabulous free meal to all racers after the race on Sunday…well worth the time before the long trek home. If you are able to head up early on Saturday, there are lots of events to watch including snowmobile ice drags and car ice racing (studded and non-studded). They have opened up the gymnasium at the college as well as the dorms if you need a place to sleep.

Please pre-register for Lac La Biche. This will greatly speed up registration and help to keep us on time for the day!

All racers must sign waiver form at each race even if you have pre-registered.

Huge thanks to all the racers, friends and ambulance for their care and support in my accident. Please note that the Dr. said that if I had not been wearing all the protective gear in particular the newly purchased Leatt neck Brace that my neck injuries could quite likely have been  a lot worse. By the impressions on the neck brace and the part that has been broken, it was evident that the brace prevented what might have been a disastrous outcome. Although the Leatt does not prevent collarbone breaks ( and might I add did not contribute to the break) it most certainly prevented acute neck injury. I am thankful for the outcome,
somewhat upset that my race season has ended, but grateful for the equipment
I purchased, the friends I have and the club in belong to.

Thanks,
RMoore
