What should I Expect? TWO 1 HR MOTOS
Corner grass is split into two Seperate Racing Groups. Group a - The Vet, Supervet, Novice & Women. This group races on a MUCH easier endurocross section and the same grasstrack as everyone else.
What class should I race?
If this is your FIRST time doing an endurocross style race, we encourage you to consider the following, Your Age, Your Skill Level, And your Bike. If you ride a fourstroke, you may be kicking, ALOT, this is what tires most riders out. However, if you are able to handle your bike for a 1 hour moto (about 5-6 laps) then put your skill level at test. the EXPERT course s only for GROUP B, and has some VERY demanding obstacles that take DEDICATION, if you hit some of these uncertain, you may be breaking a lever!
You will be able to walk each course prior to signing in. You may also change your class after practice lap if you wish. You may not bump yourself down a class prior to racing previous races at a higher level.
How long is the race?
Each moto is one hour, there are TWO separate motos. Between each moto is a Hour Break. We reccomend that you hydrate, take your bathroom breaks and EAT! It can be a very hot and long day in the 25c Sun of Compeer.
GROUP A is FIRST.
Should I bring or prepare for?
Corner grass can be very forgiving, or the complete opposite. If possible, bring a break AND clutch lever. Or have $30 on you to buy one in case you break one. Additionally we recommend having a spare SHIFT lever. 2-3 get bent or broke each year. JET YOUR 2 STROKE!! There is a 100km/h or faster straight in the race. Make sure you air-boot and air filters are well oiled as well as securely fastened (KTM riders double check!) Also a spare air filter is recommended for your 2nd moto as it can be dusty.
