Members of the Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders Association have
planned a Trail Clearing Day in McLean Creek Saturday May 24th 2008.
Their primary focus is on clearing single track in the area.
MEETING LOCATION: "Fischer West" staging
area, McLean Creek
The spot is a clearing on the opposite side of the main McLean Creek road
where the logging road heads Widow Maker, the trail head to Ewok Village
begins here. This is basically in the middle of the park approaching from
either end.
WHEN: 9:00AM
DATE: May 24th, 2008
Things to bring:
* GPS if you feel you need one
* Folding hand saw
* Chain saw
* Digital camera
* Flagging tape
* Lots of fluids and food
The Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders have graciously donated burgers and beverages
for volunteers of this project at the end of the day.
We hope to see you out on the trails this weekend helping out with the various
