About Us
The Second Gear Motorcycle Club is dedicated to promoting safe, responsible, and enjoyable off-road motorized recreation for individuals and families across Alberta. For over 25 years, we’ve worked to build a supportive, family-focused off-road community grounded in education, environmental stewardship, and respect for public lands.
Our mandate is simple:
• Encourage responsible off-road riding and safety
• Support sustainable trail use and environmental care
• Promote sportsmanship and positive community values
• Organize quality off-road events for riders of all ages
As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our focus beyond racing to connect and support even more families in the off-road community, whether they ride for competition or simply for fun. We’re excited to share new initiatives in the coming season and are proud to announce that we will be hosting our own off-road race series for 2026.

2026 Membership Information
STEP 1: Choose and pay for your membership: Second Gear Club Membership
STEP 2: Register and make a rider profile in Moto-Tally. If you have purchased a family membership please ensure all riders are entered.If you have raced with the Moto-Tally system previously you may be able to look up your rider info and make your membership profile from there. https://www.moto-tally.com/SGC/SeriesRegistration.aspx
Step 3: Fill out your annual waiver, one per racer. You must have your Second Gear Club 2026 waiver done to participate in our race events.
